As a mummy, getting that first cup of the day is oh so important to my psyche for the day...It needs to be quick, simple and easy to make.
Meaning I am back to drinking instant coffee...Though I may have to boil the kettle 2 or 3 times before hot water actually makes it into the cup, I know it will not have that over brewed taste you get with a pot of peculated coffee that is left on the heat pad too long.
In the mornings these are my best friends...A jar of freeze dried Nescafe instant coffee, found in the Hispanic aisle at Walmart, my beloved chipped sugar bowl who's lid was broken quite awhile back and my cordless electric kettle.
Combined with a large "bucket" and a dash of milk, my 30seconds of heaven in a cup is created....*happy sigh*...30 seconds BTW is how long I have to drink it.
The lovely cup used this morning is from a set of 4 I inherited with the passing of hubby's Granny, they are available in any Walmart, but mine are special :)

So sweet a cup! Thank you so much for posting about it today.
Hugs,
Terri
I remember those quickie cups when my children were small...now I get lots of leisurely cups and would trade them in for more mornings of those sweet little ones and quickie coffee. Enjoy!
Blessings!

I too remember those precious earlier days, having to grab a quick cup of coffee to get me going in the mornings. I miss those days now with my boys all grown up and on their own! Wish I could turn back the clock! Thanks for sharing and bringing back some lovely memories. Hope you're having a wonderful week.
Blessings,
Sandi
Hi Kelsie,
I love your "happy sigh". I'm with you my coffee has to be quick. On rushed mornings I use instant Folgers. *cheers* "clink" (our coffee cups)
What a wonderful mug to help start your day.
Hope you have a wonderful week.
Hugs,
Penny
I just love the cup! I drink coffee rarely. But hubby has to have his cups of coffee each morning! Thank you for joining me for Tea Time. Loved seeing how you make your coffee.
Hi: Your post makes me want a cup of coffee. But, it is too late, I would be up all night. Have a great week. Blessings, Martha
Love the room! You have done a wonderful makeover! Just so pretty! Yes, I have registered Gulf Coast Sheep, which I do love so much. I spin and weave. I also have near 50 chickens. I want to add my Angora Goats back. I use to have a farm of every animal you can think of. 100 plus sheep and goats, took a job working traveling, sold off and gave away all my animals. We back home and keep adding back to the farm, just not as many as we use to have. lol
