Flowers for my Bday...

The garden fairies sent me some beautiful blooms for my birthday and I wanted to share them with yall...

The first bloom on the Climbing Pinata

A closer look...I love the vibrant colors...I hope we get more blooms from it this yr..

Butterfly Bushes are working up to quite a display...this is just the first stem of flowers to open...

Look at all those lovely tiny flowers...

Most of the stems however look like this for now...

The Mum's are starting come to life for the spring...

I scattered a mixed box of seed back in Feb, here is one of the darling little flowers that have started to open...

Yesterday morning a Blue Jay was frequenting the suitcase collecting dirt samples for back at the nest...I managed to snap this photo before one of our cats scared him away...I love it so much if you look, it is my new banner photo :)

Blessings Kelsie

Happy Birthday, Kelsie! Love the new header, blue jays are so very nervous and I've never been able to capture pictures of them before they fly away. Love the Pinata rose, the colors are so pretty. Will the mums bloom for you in the fall, too?

Hi Kelsie, oh that's so neat you get two seasons of bloom from your mums! What a treat. The snow is melting here, but not fast enough.

Happy Birthday! Love your header photo...I would have to pinch those mum buds off. I have already sheared mine back twice in hopes of a bigger fall show. Love all of your birthday blooms.

Alot of times if you cut the mums back after they flower they will bloom again. It's just trial and error I'm afraid. You can google garden mums and see what 'they' say.

Hi Kelsie,

Your flowers are just perfect! Just in time for Easter.

I might try to plant my lily plant, but in the desert, it may be better in the pot inside the cool house. *wink*

*hugs*

I LOVE the idea of a suit case in the garden. Objects re-purposed can be given a second life. Lovely!
