Out my backdoor...

I would like to start today by thanking all the lovely ladies that left me wonderful words of encouragement, advice and wisdom...It always helps to know we are not in it alone...From the bottom of my heart
THANK YOU...

Now on a lighter note, last night I looked out my back door to see this...
It made me laugh so hard...Do you see it?

Lil Sara's dolly Alex is waving to me from the window on the slide...I actually did a double take trying to work out where the extra child came from lol.

My GARDENING goals for today:
Prepare raised garden bed to plant the sweet potato slips.
This will involve pulling many weeds, emptying both compost bins and bringing in more dirt....all after I harvest the remaining onions that I know are growing among the weeds somewhere.

If I have time there is a little bit of fussing and mussing I need to do in the flower beds...Couple of plants that could do with being moved etc...we will see how much we can get done before the heat gets unbearable.

Blessings Kelsie

OOH, I don't know Kelsie-that doll kind of reminds me of Chuckie-sneaking around on his own!LOL! Have a good day and don't get too hot out there.

How cute of Lil' Sara to pose Alex waving at the house. I would have done a double-take, too!

Up here in the Great White North (AKA Wisconsin) we are going through a 'heat wave' ok, 90's with high humidity...and I was thinking about how in Florida this would be a 'nice' stretch of weather for you. I just don't know how you intrepid gardeners do all that work in the heat. And then you have a Garden To Do List?

Oh, Kelsie, you are a very hard-working woman!

The other night when I went to check on my children before going to bed, my daughter had her American Girl doll set out with a note that read "Please Kiss My American Girl Doll" Cracked me up!

Happy Gardening! We are still waiting for our plants to bloom here in Oregon. It has been a really cool wet summer so far and the poor plants are not producing yet:( Can't wait for that first harvest...

The heat here in the South of Texas has me feeling like I'm melting into the garden. Just keep that water hose nearby and shoot up a spray of cool water to douse yourself with so your body can go into "this is freakin cold" shock. At least you won't melt. :-)

I'd have done a double take too! My gardening goal for today, stay out of the heat!

Thank you for making me smile too! My goals for today are to pull the chickweed, make a peony bouquet for a girlfriend and enjoy the nice 70 degree Alaska Weather!
