Repurposed Pink

So this week for St Pat's day it is a Green and Pink Saturday Linky Party...

And what is more green than re-purposing??...
Though I am pretty sure this is not quite was our lovely hostess Beverly had in mind...hehe

This is what I started with...Hubby's old greasy work boots and spray paint...White to prime them and then Ballet Slipper Pink to make them Pretty...

Add a couple of flowers and they are now planters :)

This lovely pink glass bowl that graces my table was given to me from my sweet MIL during their last visit...She knew I would love it...And what is not to love about vintage pink glass...

My clever MIL saw a new life for this LIGHT SHADE as a sweet bowl 20yrs ago...Back before re-purposing was trendy...And I for one am very glad she did...

Wishing you all a wonderful Pink Weekend..
Blessings Kelsie

Love repurposing items! I always think it is funny that we buy glass cups, but throw away tons of glass jars each year. What a great use for that lamp shade! And the boots are too adorable.

Your husband will look lovely in those boots! I hope he doesn't get dirt between his toes!

I do so LOVE these sweet pink boots!!
I actually have a pair but not pink, in my back yard filled with hens and chicks. They are a homage to my Dad who was a carpenter by trade and always wore work boots like those!

HPS!!

Hugs,
Debbie

I have 3 sets of my husbands old workboots in the garden planted with sedum, never thought to paint them, clever!

Well I'm pretty sure your husband never thought his boots would one day be pink! Love it. Thanks for the inspiration.

Love your interpretation of Pink & Green! I linked up to this post for Pink Saturday, because your "green" is near and dear to me. Thanks for sharing.

You are so right the three R's are as green as one can be. And the pink boots to cute. Perhaps one of the little people will fill them with hope and hugs just to honor your green & pink.
Happy pink & green week.
