What a pleasant surprise these marigolds are blooming again...Planted back in spring they have survives the summer heat and a couple of transplantings.
My Mexican Petunias have been giving a wonderful display too...Each morning I am delighted to find even more blooms than the ones dropped the evening before
.
.
One year this month since I started this garden bed...I think it is filling our nicely...May even need to move a few bushes to new locations.
Also under the pecan tree is starting to give the appearance of an established bed...I hope next year the lilies I transplanted from in the woods will actually bloom (They came from the foot print of house #2 on the property circa-1940/50's)
And the ever lovely and faithful daisy bush...No cottage garden should be without a least a couple ( I have 5 lol )

Your gardens are just beautiful Kelsie! I wish I had a green thumb. I can't even tell you the names of what plants are in our landscaping, lol.
Pretty as always!
Your gardens have such a gorgeous romantic flow to them. And those Marigolds are beautiful!!!
Your marigolds are looking pretty. YOur garden beds look nice and pretty. I'm ready for fall - how bout you.
I love today's garden pictures, what a treat. Your marigolds are so cheery. I hope your transplanted "antique" lilies bloom so we can all see them. How neat. I love your pics.
So fun to see some fall color in your garden beds....i'm slowly getting inspired by the idea of fall coming soon! Thanks for linking up to Cottage Flora Thursday's! xoxo, tracie
Great job! I have the pink mexican petunias as well as the purple, you are going to find them popping up all over the place...sorry I have been mia for a while, still trying to figure out my new blog and get everyone's info moved over there. I hope Sara is doing wonderful!!

Hi Kelsie, I love marigolds too, I think they get a bad rap from flower snobs, but that's just my opinion. How neat it is to have heirloom plants growing in your garden, special memories of times gone by. Love all your flowers, amazing how the beds are filling in.
I love the gardens and I especially liked the petunias. :-)
Pretty daisy. The marigolds are looking good too.
