Weekend Boating

Despite TC Debbie churning off the Gulf Coast, we spent Saturday afternoon sailing our boat....Full of Duplo figures in the back yard kiddy pool.

We made the boat using an old cereal box and some aluminum foil...and lots of masking tape.

As you can see the lil Sara and her Bestie had a blast...

Halved the measurements and skipped the papermaching part (which is why we covered it in Aluminum Foil)...Next time I might try and get the kids to try the mache...hmmm maybe when they are not 4yr olds any more lol.

Vacation Bible School 2012

 We are VBSing all this week...Actually it started over a week ago for us, as I was on the decorating crew starting last Tuesday.

Sara is loving it and learning lots and playing super hard with all her friends...

I was (surprise surprise) nominated Photographer...
So far I have done "passport" photos for 85 children and LOTS of candid shots for our slide show...should be quiet a power point tomorrow night lol

The wee-ones make a train to get from location to location...so cute...though it does derail occasionally, which is apt to happen when dealing with eighteen 3 to 4 year olds lol.

One of the highlights each night is dinner at the base of an active volcano.

Double Trouble

Caught these two playing on my bed today...Not sure who's idea it was, but they both know they are not supposed to be on my bed.

Also would you like to know how you can make folding laundry more fun?...

You have a hyper dog and a 4yr old child help...The child runs and puts away her clothing as quick as you can fold, stuffing them in any draw she likes. While the dog jump up and down off of the bed and roll (burying his head) in anything you have managed to folded that the child has not run off with...I was so busy laughing at them I hardly notice we had emptied 4 baskets of clothes.

It's my birthday teaparty...

It is hard to believe but lil Sara turned 4 on Saturday...So what is a mom to do??

Force her to do a photoshoot for me of course mahahaha.

I did however let her use my "PINK CUPS" (Red Transferware)...So she thought she was all that and a bag of chips :)

 I am loving how the photos came out...Have a few more to edit but could not wait any longer to share.

Notice her and dolly Alex have matching dresses and hairpieces...Yup I spent ever evening at the sewing machine this past week lol.

Luna Eclipse

Did you to catch the Luna Eclipse this morning?

I did not know it was happening, I just happened to get early and see the start of it thru the window.

Alas it sunk behind the trees before it ended, but was still pretty cool to see.

Please ignore the typo on the photos...It was early and I was lacking coffee lol.
