Washing an apron the easy way..

It is so frustrating when you wash your apron and all the ties get wrapped around the rest of the laundry creating one big giant wad of tangled clothing...

Pop your apron into a "Lingerie Bag" before putting it into the washing machine.

That's a great idea... but I don't have any aprons! I had a few, many years ago, but I just never wore them. I really should get into the habit... but I end up with so much gorp on me from the barn and house projects, it doesn't seem worth it! But then, on the other hand, there are so many cute patterns out there and such beautiful material... maybe I ought to try again!
I used to put all of the baby socks in a lingerie bag to keep them from getting lost in the washer or stuck to something in the dryer by static cling.

What a cute, cute, cute apron!! I hope all has been going well for you and your family. I'm trying to catch up on blogging, and I don't think you ever really can. It's like trying to catch up on sleep..

Very good idea! I have a ton of aprons and wear them regularly, I even have the aprons my great-grandmother sewed and also did decorative hand-stitching on. I love them! Yours is absolutely beautiful!

I love aprons! My mother wore them all the time in the kitchen. My favorites were her Sunday aprons that she would pop on just as soon as she got home from church while preparing the lunch she had started before setting off for morning services. She saved the fancier ones for Sunday.

I never wear aprons....I need to get in the habit! But, this would work great if I can find a lingerie bag big enough to hold my gardening overalls! The straps are a nightmare in the laundry.
Thanks for the tip!

That's a great idea, Kelsie! I still use a wringer washer and have to be careful that things like the straps don't go around the rollers and get ripped off. Now I know what to do to stop that from happening.

I was so happy to see you new dog, Rocky, is so good with the chickens, too.

I just want to say I'm so glad your chicken came home. What a relief! What a happy ending!
