Taking him for a test drive....

This is Rocky...He is a 2ish yr old Blue Heeler...(Australian Cattle Dog)...His mom and dad got divorced and he is looking for a new family...

If he is a good boy and gets alone with the rest of the animals then he very well may become our new Goat Guardian Dog.

Rocky was raises with goats, chickens and children (and other dogs)...So we hope he will be a good fit

Here he is bonding with Farmer Brown this morning.

He really...I mean REALLY likes Lil Sara's Disney Princess ball.

Blessings Kelsie

I so hope he works out. It is sad that he lost his home, but he will be better off with you. I have a heeler girl and they really need a job. If they feel needed they are wonderful dogs. VERY loyal. Let us know.

Keep us posted! I've been thinking about a LGD lately. I've tried to see if our border collie mix would be helpful in that department, but it seems that because she's instinctively a herding dog, she wants to herd them instead of guard them. I'm interested in how it works out for you. He's really cute, that's for sure!
