I snapped a few photos with my small camera while
watering Sunday night...
watering Sunday night...
And it would not be watering time in the garden without a little mud monsters help.

I miss my mud monsters, they're all grown up though they still live here. We rarely see them, though.
Love the flowers, I have never had luck with vinca, I don't know what I do wrong, but it's just never thrived here. Yours is beautiful.
That's an adorable mud monster you've got there!!!
Beautiful pictures!

I love the muddy monster bloom the best!!
Kelsie,
Your post reminds me of ME's saying..."Bloom Where You Are Planted". Thank you for these lovely photos...mud monster...and all!
Fondly,
Pat
I still can't believe you are able to take such fabulous photo's with a point & shoot camera? I'm in love with your photo's of "everlasting" ~ would love to hear more about this plant...it's blooms are gorgeous! thanks for sharing over here at Cottage Flora Thursday's! xoxo, tracie
We now have puppies to play in the mud and run through the sprinklers! I miss the water fights with the kids though.
I really like vinca too, it's one of my favourites for containers and handles drought really well.
My point and shoot amazes me with some of the good shots I can capture as well, enjoyed your photos.

Kelsie, You're right about the vincas. They are so hardy, spread readily and are lovely. I will plant more next year than I did this year. Are the everlastings straw flowers?
What a great idea to use a suitcase for a planter! I love the colors in your garden, too. Thanks for sharing at the Tuesday Garden Party!
