It has been Crazy Nuts here this past week...What with the Goat coming home for 5 minutes, life with my sweet little 3yr old and the unbearable heat followed by the afternoon thunderstorms, getting out in the flower garden has been some what of a low priority around here...But we have been discussing and planning the fall veggie garden however and even picked up some seed from the seed and feed store this week. Today's selection of garden photos have been snapped at random over the past week and really have no theme.

More pecan limbs on the ground *sad face* At this rate will we have enough pecans for pies this Thanksgiving?
What is this plant? I know I did not plant it in the boot, but since I recycled some pots and soil it could have come from anyway...I think it is really cute and might even put it into a larger pot...I just wish I knew what it it..
We put a For Sale sign in front of the old mobile home...
Now I am off to take a nap while our Princess is, seems the visit to Otter Springs this morning wore me out as much as her...

My...your life surely has been busy! Remember to take some quality time for yourself. Your nap sounds like a good start. :)
Love it all, but the pecan limbs. Gorgeous pics.
I swear that plant looks like a water hyacinth.I always tried to take a nap when my children did.
Kelsie,
Bless your heart. Motherhood has a way of zapping one's energy! If your plant were in Kansas, I think it would be sedum! It can tolerate the heat, stays green and even goes partly dormat. Then in the late August, early September it blooms with either pink, white or yellow blooms! Sweet thoughts coming for Our Country Home!
Fondly,
Pat
Beautiful garden! Holy Guacamole on the branch loaded with pecans. And, I have no earthly idea about the boot plant, it looks a tad bit like an African Violet leaf shape, but it couldn't stand the direct water on the leaves. Interesting...
I'm rooting for you to sale for top dollar!
Wow that's a cute post! Sorry i don't know that plant but it looks like a water plant, maybe the boots have stored water in it, cute vase that is.
I love your boot! Happy FF.
So sorry for the broken branches..so frustrating. Cute boot!
*hugs*Deb
Wow, you have been busy! Summer is going by so quickly, isn't it? Those pecans are amazing, too bad the storms keep wrecking the trees. I'm not sure what the plant is, but I agree, it's cute, just like the boot.
Your flowers are all so pretty, love this post. Have a great weekend, Kelsie!
Two gardens in one year!!! How lucky you are...we're lucky to get the one half way growing before the snow begins to fly! Your bumble bee shot is great!
Busy lady, so glad you had time to take some photos to share today.
Thanks so much for linking up! :) Your boot plant looks a little like sedum....we have it here in ND.
Love you boot planter, and yes, it does look like a sedum of some sort. There are several varieties.
We have in MN too. Some sedum grows tall, and others low. You'll find out soon enough as you watch it grow.
Bees like their flowers-bloom later.
Love the closeups of the insects and flowers! You take great photos! This is entry #3 - I've been a follower since we first met! Have a wonderful week.
sorry about the damaged limbs...pecans hey??? neat!!!
you are as busy as a bee...I totally identify with that!!!
also identify with the selling of a home...ugh
It does my heart good to tour around the gardens that are linked into my little party...I so wish every one of the people who share lived close enough that I could walk the gardens in person. Thank you so much for sharing with me this week...I hope you will again very soon!
Hugs and smiles from Alberta Canada to you!
