Blooming Pear Trees Everywhere....

This week the pear trees exploded into bloom all over the property....

In case you have not guessed it from previous posts...We have lots of bugs in Florida...

We have a total of 12 pear trees....

And all filled with masses of blooms...

So pretty to look at...Shame they stink or I would bring some inside to put in a vase...

We started getting in the posts for the front fence this week...Here is Lil Sara helping Daddy pack in the dirt to hold them nice and firm in the ground....As you can see in the background, the front yard is in desperate need of lawn...With the fence up to keep the chickens out we can finally seed and get rid of all the lovely white builders sand....You can also see one of the pear trees peaking up over the roof of the house.

Going to leave you with this little teaser...

What do you think this is?

Or rather what do you think this will be when we are finished with it?

Blessings Kelsie

I so love pear trees-how lucky you are to have sun and blooms--gorgeous. Is it going to be a piece to a crib???

I love your Pear blooms & I didn't know that they stink? :)
It is a head board to a baby crib & I think you are going to make a Gate out of it? LOL! Or my second guess is a bench?

This really makes me want spring to arrive. Those trees are just beautiful!

I think that the white on your trees is WAY nicer than the white on mine right now!
I think that that crib part will make a wonderful gate!

Looks like a nice big yard and such wonderful blossoms - hope you get lots of fruit from them. Perhaps the cot end is going to be turned into a pot hanger?? You know lay it flat and hang from the roof

One of the things I love when I visit Floriday is the smell of orange blossums. Want to take it home with me. Too bad the pear blossums smell bad. They are beautiful. V

I love pear trees in bloom so much! I often recommend Bradford non-fruiting pears in my designs; they are such a pretty, small tree so perfect for suburban lots. Look forward to exploring your blog some more.

I so want fruit trees but the cold here is so hard on them. I planted apple tress last year so I'll see this Spring how they handled the Winter. Those blossoms are fantastic.

Your pear trees are beautiful, just a few more weeks and we'll be enjoying them in Philly too! I'm guessing that will be one amazing garden gate after your new fence is installed:@)

Boy--am I an in the box thinker or what? I was actually thinking you may be telling us you were having a new baby :) I am going to go with a gate or a garden trellis?

Ohhh! I LOVE the garden gate idea. It would also be a cute twin headboard too. Your pear trees are beautiful and it made me laugh because they are kinda stinky...I forgot about that...my pears are in the far corner of my yard and I can't smell them back there.

your pear tree is gorgeous! I think they have some of the prettiest blooms!
as for the last little challenge you asked of us...I think that was the end of a crib...but that soon it will become the most fabulous garden gate...or trellis....ever...or...oh now you have my mind getting all creative! whatever it is...it is going to be fabulous.
thanks for linking in this week....
hugs!

Beautiful blooms on the pear tree. I think that might end up being a bench or chair of some sort.

Beautiful pear blooms. Mine isn't blooming yet. Soon though. That post wouldn't have stood up right if little one hadn't helped. So cute. I bet that is going to be a headboard. Tell us...
