Sara's Tree...

This week for Pink Saturday I have Lil Sara dressed all in pink....

And here she is with her tree...Which is the reason she is dressed up to have her picture taken...While I was pregnant with her, our lovely neighbor Mr Stanfill (a widower) gave us this lovely Live Oak tree to plant on our property so the tree and the "baby" could grow together...Recently this neighbor remarried and moved back to Oklahoma...He will be back visiting this weekend and I wanted to give him a framed photo of Sara with her tree.

She is such a ham for the camera....

"Thanks for stopping by to see my tree" Says Lil Sara

Hi Kelsie,
Thanks for joining my new blog.
i am now a follower of yours as well. This post is so sweet. I think it is so beautiful that your neighbor gave you a tree when your daughter was born. The picture gift is such a great idea.
i read that you design clothes for 16 inch dolls, I would love to see some. Do you ever post about them?
I will be stopping by again soon.
Happy holidays,
CareyAnn

That was a great thing your neighbor did for Sara. I like that idea very much. No doubt he will appreciate the lovely photo of her with the tree. She is a precious little girl.

What a nice gift...a tree for Sara that will grow and give shade and be there for generations. What a wonderful story to pass down...

What a wonderful gift -and you are so sweet to give him a picture. You should take a picture of her with the tree every year on her birthday-to chart both of thems growth.I loved the beautiful live oaks when I lived in Florida.
