For the birds....

I put halved oranges in the trees just outside the back door for the birds to enjoy...It also allows me to enjoy watching them...The hanging seed feeder is also visited daily by a family of cardinals..You might remember in the spring me sharing images of Daddy bringing in the babies to feed for the first time. (see post here)

The funniest part about this picture is what you guys do not see...and that is one of our cats Pretty Kitty stretched out on a table about 10 feet from the tree waiting for her breakfast to be served lol.

Do you feed the birds in your area? If so, what do you put out and what kind of birds does it attract?

Blessings Kelsie

The birds we get around here are all different kinds, but we have a lot of hummingbirds that I love to watch them. We put out feeders all over the yard. The oranges are such a wonderful idea. Hope you and your family have a very Blessed Christmas. Hugs, Marty

Hi! Thanks for stopping by On Crooked Creek today with your kind comments! Had to laugh when I saw your post. . ."Mr. Ed" and I just returned from Lowe's where we purchased a garden chair for the squirrels in our yard for Christmas. (I'm sure there's a future post on this for New Year 2011!) I would love for you to visit as often as you can. . .I'll do the same. I'm new to blogging and don't know alll the ropes yet. . .be patient, please!
