A Royal Tea Party....

Today we are watching a young Princess in her natural habitat as she prepare to engage in ritual older than the Queen Mother herself....

Peeking thru the window, we can see the final preparations are being made....

Let's get a closer look inside shall we...

Seems Snow White is using the good china from the tea chest for this gathering...

The guests are beginning to arrive...

Belle is already here and look Cinderella is just now coming thru the front door...

Last cup is put in place for this royal occasion

Snow White finally notices she is being watched and politely asks us to leave so the her guests, the Princesses from the Disney Kingdom can have a little privacy...

One last glance thru the window as the Royal Tea Party gets underway....

Tea with Alice

Today we are having tea in the garden with the lovely Alice...THE ALICE to be precise...I am sharing with you a Disney Teapot and Teacup...I hope one day to add the Tea for One set and smaller teacup and saucers to my collection, but for now I am just thrilled to have these pieces to enjoy.

During my first trip to Epcot at Disney World I found the gorgeous teapot in the Tea Shoppe in "England"...I could not contain my excitement and just had to have it...I was just as delighted to find they sold "FLAKE" chocolate bars in the same shoppe and gobbled up every delicious morsel and savoring the flavor as it could be another decade before I have another lol...Hmmm or maybe it is time to plan another Epcot trip soon.

While visiting Down Town Disney in Orlando during my mothers visit from Australia in July, my mum purchased this matching Tea Cup for my oldest daughter whom is also an All Things Alice fan..

On the bottom of the cup is the Disney stamp, made in Thailand and a warning about not putting it into the dishwasher because of the gold leafing...You probably need to enlarge the image to read it...Sorry I was in a hurry to get the pix done so it is not as sharp as it should be.

Thank you for stopping by our garden party today...Kelsie

Finding Inspiration at Downtown Disney...

Yesterday we took a day trip to Downtown Disney Orlando...It was one of the best visits we have had. The summer tourist season is winding down so it was not crazy busy. We got to see some stores we have never ventured into before and just had a lovely relaxing time.

I was super excited to see all new Alice In Wonderland merchandise using the traditional cartoon Alice on display...This had been much lacking recently due to the new Tim Burton movie coming out...Don't get me wrong, I love TB's work and was very excited he was doing Alice, in this house we love all things Tea party and Alice, but especially the traditional Disney Alice.

How wonderful are these Alice inspired window displays...They combined the new and the old , the classic with a twist of modern in true Disney style. I found them at Trends...Everything about this store is so fun and girlie and oh how I could spend so much money there.

It was terribly hard to photograph the window because of the time of day, but I wanted to capture what I could since we were about to leave for home.

I love the white on white and the super long tutu...I would "die" to have a full size white mannequin (though no idea where she would be kept lol)...I think I need to use my own white tea set and one of my 16inch dolls to do a photoshoot om-age to this window display *adds this to long "I want to do" list*

This other window was so fun with the big chess pieces....I am thinking I need to find a place in the garden for a giant chess set :)

And of course no visit to Downtown Disney is complete unless Sara gets to visit the ponies at least twice...This was my favorite still photo of her and Daddy...I also uploaded the short clip below to Youtube...And yes I want a carousel horse for my garden also :)
