Purple Gladiolia

What is not to love about Gladies......

I have been taken with them since I received a big bouquet after giving birth to my eldest daughter (now 18) by a dear friend..

Besides being lush and gorgeous, for me they always bring with them joyful memories...

And then of course are all the lovely colors...

God spared nothing in the color spectrum when he created them..

Even so I think I have found my stand out favorite in this lovely soft purple...

  3. Hi Kelsie
I have enjoyed your visits and comments on my blog.
Lavender in any kind of flower is a favourite and I like the bee in the glad you've captured.

  5. Kelsie,
My MoMa planted these when I wasn't much older than lil' Sara!!! She had a way with things that I can't get to grow. Her birth flower and her favorite were Sweet Peas. I've tried at least a dozen times and have yet to be successful in getting vines to appear. Thank you for sharing these lovely photos from your flower garden!
    Fondly,
    Pat

  17. These are beautiful. Do you have the old dark pass along one called Sweet Jesus blood? It is a really old one, that I think you have to get from someone who has it-I don't think they sell it.
